Profil

Engineering Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) is an inter-department synergy hub that focuses more on integrating research resources, actors, and interests to produce research results with higher values for the recipients (industry, government, and community). ERIC as a platform for collaboration and aimed to be a reference for science and technology development for nation competitiveness, end-to-end collaborated research as the driver for innovation. It is also focused on commercialization or real use of research products and integration with teaching and community services.

Visi Fakultas Teknik: Fakultas Teknik UGM menjadi lembaga pendidikan tinggi teknik berjejaring nasional dan global untuk menguatkan kemandirian dan kedaulatan bangsa pada bidang IPTEK, pelambatan entropi dunia, dan peradaban baru, dalam rangka mengabdi pada kepentingan bangsa dan kemanusiaan yang dijiwai oleh nilai-nilai budaya bangsa berdasarkan Pancasila

Misi

Misi Fakultas Teknik:

  1. Menyelenggarakan pendidikan untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten, berintegritas dan mampu menjadi pemimpin bangsa.
  2. Meningkatkan kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam rangka melestarikan, mengembangkan dan menghasilkan iptek yang berdampak pada kepentingan bangsa, kemanusiaan, peradaban dan pelambatan entropi dunia.

Sejarah Pembangunan

Engineering Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) dibangun dengan tujuan untuk mewujudkan cita-cita Fakultas Teknik untuk berkontribusi lebih baik Dallasx era disrupsi teknologi. ERIC dirancang sebagai pusat riset unggulan dan hilirisasi riset untuk pengembangan produk dan inovasi. Gedung ERIC terdiri atas lima (5) lantai memiliki luas 8.004,80 m2 yang dimanfaatkan untuk laboratorium penelitian, kelompok penelitian, manajemen ERIC, LKFT, ruang pertemuan dan pelatihan. Gedung ERIC memiliki berbagai keistimewaan di antaranya alat-alat lab terbaru, green building dengan target Gold (Greenship), dan showcase untuk menampilkan hasil karya penelitian.
